Hieromonk Anatoly (Berestov) declares the deliberate drug addiction of Russians with the aim of destroying them as a nation
The head of the St. John of Kronstadt Center for Rehabilitation of Drug Addicts, Hieromonk Anatoly (Berestov), called on the authorities to tighten control over the alcohol and tobacco market, Interfax reports.
"Prominent chemists have officially told me that almost all types of beer sold in Russia contain small amounts of marijuana or amphetamine," the priest said in an interview published Wednesday by the weekly Argumenty i Fakty.
In addition, he said, soft drinks imported from the West contain small amounts of coca, "which young people are particularly addicted to."
"Unfortunately, the state and its regulatory bodies have effectively lost control over the production and sale of soft drinks, beer and tobacco products," noted Father Anatoly.
He also added that for him personally, it is obvious that there is a “targeted process of drug addiction of Russians with the goal of ‘liberating’ Russian territory and populating it in the future with other peoples.”
"It is possible that foreign intelligence services may be involved in this," the priest said.
