Property to be confiscated for drug distribution

The institution of confiscation for crimes related to the illegal drug trafficking should be returned to the Criminal Code, Deputy Director of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation (FSKN) Alexander Fedorov said today at a hearing in the State Duma.
According to him, the annual drug turnover in Russia is more than $9 billion, while the confiscation procedure does not apply to drug criminals.
