Bailiff sold marijuana to FSB officer

The sentence against former bailiff Shabaev, who was accused of illegal possession and sale of drugs, has come into force.

On October 19, 2007, Shabaev gave 6 grams of cannabis (marijuana) to the FSB officer who carried out the “control” purchase for 1,400 rubles.

On the same day, the bailiff was caught red-handed, the Open Information Agency correspondent reports. A criminal case was opened under the article "violation of drug trafficking rules" (Part 1 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the regional prosecutor's office, in court Shabaev and his defense attorney insisted on provocations on the part of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Saratov region.

Nevertheless, the former bailiff was sentenced to 1 year of suspended imprisonment.
