Yakut businessman to be fined for selling "narcotic" clothing

A resident of the Yakut city of Mirny, who sold T-shirts, shorts and bandanas at a local clothing market, will be held administratively liable in the form of a fine of 2,500 rubles. His goods will be confiscated and destroyed.

The fact is that the businessman was selling products promoting drugs. “I love marijuana” was written on some things, on others the word “cannabis” (the name of hemp leaves) was emblazoned, on others these very leaves were depicted. By law, advertising and promotion of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is prohibited. By the way, those who dare to wear such things may also be fined. How many T-shirts and bandanas the Mirny businessman sold is being established. So far, about 40 pieces of “narcotic” clothing have been confiscated from him, reported the news agency Data.RU with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
