Cannabis Cup marijuana festival held in Amsterdam

The 20th international Cannabis Cup festival, which took place in Amsterdam at the beginning of this week, has ended, with one of the largest and most famous companies in this field, Green House Seeds, emerging as the winner.

This unique event attracts the Dutch capital to lovers of marijuana and hashish made from hemp from all over the world. Its permanent organizer is an American, the editor-in-chief of the New York-based magazine High Times, Steven Hager.

This year, 25 companies and 21 cafeshops - establishments in Holland where you can use soft drugs - marijuana and hashish - took part in the competition for the title of the best producer of cannabis seeds and bushes and products made from it. The official website of the festival invited everyone to become judges of these competitions. To do this, it was enough to register at the headquarters of the festival organizers in Amsterdam, paying €200.

Judges had the opportunity to taste marijuana varieties offered by various producers and cafeshops at the exhibition, giving them marks. This requires remarkable health and strength, since it is necessary to taste up to 30 varieties of marijuana per day. For those who as a result disconnected from the outside world and could no longer participate in the tasting, rest rooms were provided.

As part of the festival, a large exhibition, the Cannabis Cup Expo, was organized.
