Amsterdam Invites You to a Marijuana Festival

The 20th Cannabis Cup marijuana festival has opened in Amsterdam. The festival's official website invites everyone to become its judges. To do this, simply register at the organizers' headquarters in Amsterdam by paying 200 euros.

The festival includes an exhibition of hemp products. Judges have the opportunity to taste marijuana varieties offered by various manufacturers and coffee shops, giving them scores. This requires remarkable health and strength, since you have to taste up to 30 varieties of marijuana a day. For those who, as a result, disconnect from the outside world and can no longer take part in the tasting, rest rooms are provided.

The announcement of the winners and the presentation of prizes will take place on Thursday, and on Friday the closing ceremony of the festival will take place at the winning coffee shop.

During the first two days of the festival, the exhibition is open to the general public. In addition to drugs, it features beer, wine, oil, marijuana pies, cosmetics, fabrics, clothing and hats, smoking accessories, books about hemp and marijuana, paintings, and posters made from hemp.

The festival program includes seminars on growing hemp, shows featuring winners of previous festivals and various celebrities, parties, performances by musicians and singers, exhibitions of avant-garde artists, fashion shows, public interviews, and presentations of videos about growing hemp, RIA Novosti reports.

A large number of foreign tourists arrived to the festival in Amsterdam, who not only visited the exhibition, but also smoked the main "product" of the festival in coffee shops.
