Three bags of marijuana found on Krasnoyarsk resident

As part of the interdepartmental operational and preventive operation "MAK", in order to increase the effectiveness of the fight against various manifestations of illegal trafficking of plant-based narcotics, drug control officers regularly conduct raids on summer cottage communities, villages and towns.

As RIA Press-Line reports with reference to the press service of the State Drug Control Service for Krasnoyarsk Krai, as a result of one of these preventive measures, employees of the Kansk Drug Control Department confiscated 3 bags of the narcotic drug "marijuana" from a 19-year-old resident of the village of Ivanovka.

As the young man explained, he was harvesting the grass for his own use. In a hemp field discovered by operatives a quarter of a kilometer from the village, another bag of the drug was additionally found and confiscated. In total, the young man had 24 kilograms of marijuana. A criminal case has been opened on this fact, and an investigation has been launched.

That same day, officers of the Norilsk Department of Drug Control detained a 29-year-old resident of Norilsk near the Lastochka store on Komsomolskaya Street. During a personal search, drug police officers seized a package containing about 40 grams of hashish from the pocket of his jeans. The suspect works in a funeral home and has a previous conviction. For his actions, he faces 3 to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles.

The day before, in the Geranboy café, Norilsk drug police officers from the local department detained a man while trying to sell several doses of heroin. During the searches in the garage and apartment of the detainee, a large sum of money was found in the car, and a hiding place was found in the basement, where he kept the drugs. In total, about 400 doses of heroin did not reach the consumer. A criminal case was opened on this fact, an investigation was launched. The drug dealer was born in 1976, unemployed, convicted, arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
