Hemp plantation in the reserve

The 39-year-old resident of Volgodonsk traveled to the island located in the middle of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir by boat every day, as if to work. As the drug police found out, there was "work" there: he grew hemp on the island. During the raid, it was established that the suspect had prepared for the case thoroughly. In the thickets of blackthorn, which were one and a half kilometers from the shore, he cut out areas for two plantations located one hundred and fifty meters from each other. Each had two entrances - a central one and two spare ones - in case he had to urgently escape. The plantations themselves were not visible because of the "live" fence. A small hut was built for spending the night. The owner of the plantation even got an assistant. The seasoned drug police were quite surprised by the fact that the plantations were laid out on the territory of a nature conservation area, considered a protected area.
