Hemp vodka is no friend to alcoholics!

If you haven't had a chance to try hemp vodka yet, you won't have time. The Leningradsky District Court of Kaliningrad has banned the sale of hemp vodka "Cannabis" in the city, considering its release to be drug propaganda. Vodka of this type has been withdrawn from sale, and the company "Biznestorg" that distributed it has been fined 40 thousand rubles.

In mid-March, Federal Drug Control Service officers confiscated a batch of gift sets of "Cannabis" vodka from the company's stores, on the packaging of which the manufacturers had placed information about "unforgettable pleasures from consuming cannabis."

The suspicions of drug police that this information is nothing more than “propaganda and illegal advertising of narcotic drugs” were confirmed by a joint examination of linguists, psychologists and narcologists, NEWSru reports with reference to ITAR-TASS.

The leadership of the regional department of the State Drug Control Service considers this court decision as a protection of the interests of society and at the same time a warning for all local commercial organizations.

The annotation to the drink says: "Vodka "Cannabis" is an alcoholic drink made according to old Czech recipes using perfectly purified spirits infused with hemp seeds and spring water. Many people have already appreciated this drink. They have discovered that the tart, bitter and aromatic drink is very intoxicating, awakens creative imagination, evokes unusual feelings and sensations. Enjoy this wonderful drink, but do not forget about its amazing power!" Manufacturer - Czech Republic.

The court's ban on the sale of the "original drink" is valid only in the Kaliningrad region and does not extend to other regions of Russia.
