Smoking ban will not affect marijuana users

The authorities of the most liberal state in Western Europe - the Netherlands - are launching a legislative attack on the unofficial symbol of the country - the so-called “coffee shops”.

These coffee shops are known worldwide for having soft drugs on their menu, and are therefore very popular among foreign tourists.

In addition, in the near future the Dutch government is preparing to legislate restrictions on the rights of smokers, but only those who smoke tobacco. Hashish and marijuana are not covered by the bill.

Coffee shop owners believe that the ban on smoking tobacco will seriously affect their business, NTV reports. Especially since last week Dutch cafes banned the sale of alcohol.
