Drug dealer received marijuana via mail

As a correspondent of the National News Agency was informed on Tuesday in the department of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for Yakutia, a suspicious parcel sent from the city of Yakutsk was discovered on April 4 in the parcel department of the main post office in the city of Lensk. The parcel was inspected and it was suspected that it contained drugs. The examination confirmed that these indeed turned out to be narcotic drugs of plant origin.

After some time, a woman came to pick up the parcel, received the postal item, left the post office building and caught a taxi. But she did not have time to use or sell drugs - the woman was detained at a stationary traffic police checkpoint at the entrance to the city. During the personal search, all objects and substances previously recorded during operational activities were discovered. In total, as a result of the operation, 233 grams of hashish oil and 94 grams of marijuana were seized from illicit trafficking.
