Rastafarian Mummy Unearthed in China

A team of Chinese scientists who identified a 2,800-year-old mummy have concluded that it was a shaman who died between the ages of 40 and 50. Particularly intriguing was the presence of a bag of marijuana leaves in the mummy's leather "garment."

As reported by Gazeta.Ru, an examination conducted by international specialists confirmed the presence of narcotic substances both in the material with which the mummy was wrapped and in the confiscated marijuana leaves. The mummy was found in 2003 in one of the regions of China. Presumably, it is a representative of the white European race.

The mummy was found among 600 other mummies during the study of a large number of burials. The exhibit is well preserved, which gives hope for the discovery of other secrets from the lives of ancient shamans.
