Two kilograms of marijuana seized from former intelligence officer

More than two kilograms of marijuana were confiscated from a resident of Kopeysk, a former employee of the special services, the press service of the Federal Drug Control Service for the Chelyabinsk Region reported to Nakunune.RU.

In Kopeysk, a local resident organized a stable drug distribution channel, using the operational investigative skills he had previously acquired in one of the Russian special services. A well-thought-out conspiracy system allowed him to sell marijuana to wholesale distributors for a long time without revealing his real name and surname. Nevertheless, he came to the attention of drug police officers, who, using their countermeasures, were no less professionally able to establish the mechanism of the drug dealer's criminal activity, as well as the storage location of the drug intended for sale. The drug dealer learned about the true "occupation" of the buyers when handcuffs were locked on his wrists at the moment of handing over the marijuana. Then the man brought more than 100 grams of the drug to the meeting. After the arrest, the drug police went to the man's garage. There, without much difficulty, with the help of a service dog, they found more than two kilograms of marijuana. It is noteworthy that immediately after the arrest, the man fully admitted his guilt. At the same time, he repeatedly emphasized that as a patriot of his country, he is not satisfied with the soft punitive sanctions of Russian legislation in relation to drug offenders and believes that they should be toughened. "Soft" Russian legislation allows for the application of a punishment of up to 20 years of imprisonment to a detainee.
