Police seized large quantities of cannabis and its derivatives

In the Far Eastern Federal District, police officers seized particularly large quantities of cannabis and its derivatives.

Yesterday, at the stationary traffic police post of the Ikura station in the Smidovichsky district of the Jewish Autonomous Region, the regional traffic police stopped and inspected a Mazda Capella Wagon. During the inspection, the police officers found and confiscated about 28 kilograms of dried marijuana from the passenger of the car, an unemployed 27-year-old young man.

And in the city of Shakhtyorsk in the Sakhalin Region, during operational and investigative activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Uglegorsk City Department of Internal Affairs found and seized 105.5 grams of hashish oil at the home of a 35-year-old city resident. Both drug dealers were detained and placed in temporary detention facilities of the subjects. Criminal cases were initiated against them under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. They face long prison terms, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Far Eastern Federal District reports.
