Crimean hemp is even being taken out in train trash bins04.12.2006
Ukrainian border guards found more than 1 kilogram of marijuana in a trash bin of one of the cars of the Kerch-Moscow train. A service dog helped find the herbal drug.
According to the border guards' press service, the drug was discovered during security checks at the Kazachya Lopan checkpoint. A trained dog pointed out to its instructor a garbage bin in one of the carriages. As it turned out, the dog was attracted by a plastic bag carefully wrapped with tape. Having cut it, the border guards and customs officers found out that there was a plant-based substance inside, most likely marijuana. According to inspectors, similar packages are often found on trains leaving Crimea at this time of year. The contraband drug found this time weighed 1 kilogram 185 grams.
