20-year-old resident of Chita region detained while transporting 520 grams of marijuana

On Friday, November 25, on the Chita-Chernyshevsk highway, road patrol officers stopped a Toyota Camry for inspection. It was driven by a 20-year-old medical student. The guy began to get nervous, which aroused the suspicions of the police. They thoroughly examined the interior, and their expectations were confirmed. Law enforcement officers found a package containing more than half a kilo of dried marijuana. The investigation is being conducted by the Chita Department of Internal Affairs.

Over the past weekend, 37 crimes were registered in the region, 15 of which were solved "hot on the trail". Among the crimes, there were 4 cases of causing harm to health, 8 robberies and 12 thefts of other people's property. In the regional center, 18 crimes were registered.
