Moscow customs officers found drugs in a postal parcel

During operational and investigative activities within the framework of the program "Astana - a city without drugs", the capital's customs officers discovered drugs in a postal parcel, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the CTC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

More than one hundred grams of marijuana were carefully packaged in a Piala Gold tea bag, and 0.23 grams of heroin in a Tuzik toffee candy wrapper.

The sender turned out to be a resident of the Akmola region. The drugs were addressed to a convict serving a sentence in a penal colony in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. And a service search dog named "Jack" helped expose the criminals' cunning plan.
