A large amount of marijuana was seized in the Irkutsk region

In the Irkutsk region, operatives seized a record amount of marijuana - about 300 kilograms.

As a result of operational search activities, 46 bags of marijuana were found in the country house of a resident of the city of Usolye-Sibirskoye. The total weight of the seizure was 279 kg 200 g. This is the largest shipment of drugs in recent years. Two detainees - a local market worker and a student - were charged under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspects face punishment from three to ten years in prison
