Italy allows possession of up to 40 doses of marijuana for personal use

Italian Health Minister Livia Turco signed a decree allowing Italian citizens to carry up to 40 doses. marijuana , without fear of arrest. One dose is about 25 milligrams of the substance.

According to her, she came to this decision because of the need to protect children and adolescents addicted to drugs from prison. marijuana . According to the minister, she is categorically against drugs, but addiction needs to be treated, punished, and deprived of privileges, and not put the child in prison for three years, as is happening now.
