Drug dealer on call

On October 31, in the Solnechny microdistrict, officers of the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Ordzhonikidzevsky District Police Department of the city of Kharkov detained a driver of one of the radio taxis, who, in addition to his main job, was also engaged in the sale of drugs. The enterprising taxi driver offered those who wanted a bag of marijuana weighing approximately 10 grams for 60 hryvnia plus 25 hryvnia for delivery. At the time of the detention, police officers found and confiscated a bag of drugs from the suspect. In the evening of the same day, another suspect in complicity in this crime was detained - a resident of the Lozovsky district of the Kharkov region, born in 1967, who rented a room in one of the residential buildings on 50 years of the Komsomol Avenue. Together with the 40-year-old owner of the apartment, he was engaged in the sale, preparation and storage of opium extract. By the way, both suspects had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for committing similar crimes. At their place of residence, police officers confiscated approximately 200 grams of marijuana, approximately 1 kg of poppy straw and 10 liters of opium extraction.
On November 1, operatives went to the village of Yakovlevka in the Lozovsky district, where a large batch of drugs - about 10 kg of dried hemp - was seized from the private home of a detained citizen. A criminal case has been opened on this fact, and an investigation is underway.
