The Perm Administration, the Perm Regional Union of Journalists and the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation for the Perm Region, with the support of the Vernoye Delo public relations center, are holding the second city competition among the media for the best coverage of work to combat drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking.

The acceptance of applications and creative works for the city competition for the best media coverage of work to combat drug addiction in society and illegal drug trafficking has already begun. The competition is being held within the framework of the city target program "Prevention of Alcoholism, Drug Abuse, Toxicomania and HIV Infection in the City of Perm for 2004-2006". For the second year in a row, the organizers have collected all the best works of Perm journalists and representatives of the public.

The total prize fund of the competition this year will be 40,000 rubles. The peculiarity of this competition is that not only professional journalists can take part in it, but also ordinary people who care about drug addiction problems, the press service of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for Perm Krai reports.
