Tikhonovetsky gets 8 months for smoking marijuana

On Wednesday, October 25, a regular meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee was held, according to the official website of the Russian Football Union. The RFU FCC made the following decisions:

1. For using a prohibited substance, disqualify football player of FC Luch-Energia (Vladivostok) Alexander Tikhonovetsky for eight months and fine him 30 thousand rubles.

2. Fine the head coach of Moscow CSKA Valery Gazzaev 30 thousand rubles for going beyond the technical zone during the match of the 23rd round against Perm Amkar.

3. Fine FC Zenit 50 thousand rubles for the illegal actions of fans that caused smoke on the field during the match of the 23rd round against Moscow Lokomotiv.
