The "harvest" from the discovered marijuana plantation will amount to $1 million

Employees of the Kyzylorda Regional Department for Combating Economic and Corruption Crime near the village of Akkyr in the Zhalagash district Large marijuana plantations have been discovered, Kazinform correspondent reports.

In total, there are about 9,500 bushes on the plantations located on the banks of the Zhanadariya River. The cost of narcotics that can be obtained from these plantations exceeds, according to employees of the said department, one million US dollars. Eight special basements were equipped next to the plantations; they are also equipped with devices for supplying water and electricity.

One member of the criminal group was detained. During the search, about 100 kg of drugs were found on him.
