Drug prices in Lugansk

Today at a press conference, the head of the UBNON Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lugansk region, Sergei Boychuk, named the prices at which drugs can be purchased on the “black market” of Lugansk, reports an Irta-FAX correspondent.

"One milligram of opium costs from 10 to 20 UAH, a glass of poppy straw can be bought for 50-100 UAH. "A ship", that is, a box of marijuana will cost 20-50 UAH, and a whole glass will cost from 120 to 350 UAH, although sometimes the price can reach 100 dollars - depending on the "quality" of the drug sold," said Serhiy Boychuk.

According to him, 1 milligram of perventin (popularly known as “vinta”) can be bought for 15-20 UAH, one tablet of “ecstasy” costs 100-250 UAH, and the most expensive drug – heroin – will cost a drug addict at least $100 per gram.

Sergei Boychuk also added that This year, 3,904 criminal cases were initiated regarding identified drug crimes, 1,040 on facts of committing serious and especially serious drug crimes. 1,901 people were brought to criminal responsibility, of which 479 were drug traffickers.

1187 kg 173 g of narcotic drugs were seized from illegal circulation. Of this amount - poppy straw 422 kg 458 g, marijuana and hemp - 762 kg 417 g, opium - 1 kg 30 g, perventine - 17.77 g, industrial narcotic drugs - 33 g, amphetamine - 64.64 g, " Ecstasy - 200 tablets, heroin - 1g.
