Are 20 Italian MPs drug addicts?

What the ubiquitous paparazzi sometimes come up with. For example, the creative team of the Italian television program “Le Lene” invented an original way to expose parliamentarians who use drugs.

Nosy journalists began to secretly collect tampons, which were used to wipe sweat from the faces of politicians in dressing rooms during broadcasts. Having collected sweat samples from 50 servants of the people in this way, they sent them to the laboratory for examination. Experts quickly established that 16 parliamentarians regularly try marijuana, and four use cocaine.

However, it was not possible to publicly expose the drug-addicted deputies. Someone reported to the prosecutor's office, and the program was promptly taken off the air - under the pretext that its authors had violated the law on privacy. As a result, both the tampons and the filmed material were confiscated. Moreover, three overly enterprising members of the television group were under investigation. In a word, the rule of law triumphed, and the drug-loving deputies stuck to their guns. In addition, the Italian public rather calmly accepted the fact that many servants of the people turned out to be drug addicts.
