They tried to smuggle a batch of marijuana in boxes of apples

An attempt to smuggle a batch of marijuana was stopped by police officers on Friday in the village of Kyiv in the Naro-Fominsky District of the Moscow Region. As reported to the MK-Novosti agency by the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region, a KamAZ from Dagestan was stopped on the road passing through the village. Two Dagestanis in the car claimed that they were carrying apples for sale. However, during the inspection, police officers found plastic bags with marijuana in the boxes with apples. The total weight of the drug was 5 kilograms, and the cost was more than 100 million rubles. Further investigation revealed that the Caucasians had set up a wholesale purchase of marijuana in rural areas of Dagestan and its delivery to the Moscow region. Distribution channels for the drug are being established.
