Marijuana-scented sticks are illegal

Kaliningrad is actively fighting drug propaganda. Incense sticks with the smell of cannabis and symbols of the narcotic plant were confiscated during a routine raid by employees of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for the Kaliningrad Region in one of the city's retail chains.

As reported by the Information and Public Relations Group of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for the Kaliningrad Region, drug police officers found a whole batch of specific incense in one of the city's major retail chains, but in addition to the traditional scents of sandalwood and jasmine, customers are offered a product with the smell of cannabis and marijuana symbols. According to the manufacturer, the smell of these sticks is as close to natural as possible.

All goods, which according to current legislation constitute drug propaganda, were confiscated, and an administrative protocol was drawn up against the supplier.

Now such raids are carried out constantly.
