Former police officer grew cannabis

During the course of operational and investigative activities, employees of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for the Penza Region detained a former district police officer of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs for involvement in the illegal drug trade. The 30-year-old man, a father of two young children, organized a private security company after leaving the service in 2002. And at the same time, he began growing marijuana at his dacha.

According to the press service of the Department, the detainee distributed marijuana in large batches, no less than 3-4 kilograms each. When the drug control officers raided this country house, the owner of the estate was working in the garden. During the search of the private home, more than 10 kilograms of dried marijuana were found and confiscated from illegal circulation, for the packaging of which 12 large canvas bags, 200 hemp bushes growing in the garden near the raspberries, and parts of 4 sawn-off shotguns hidden by the drug dealer in the depths of the stove were needed.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened on this fact, and an investigation is underway. So the director of the security company will soon have to answer to the court.
