400 kg of marijuana and 3 kg of hashish oil seized in Amur Region

In the Oktyabrsky district of the Amur region, the illegal activity of an underground drug laboratory was stopped, where more than 400 kilograms of narcotics were seized ( marijuana , hashish oil ). As a REGNUM correspondent was told on October 12 by the press service of the Amur Region Prosecutor's Office, a criminal case has been opened into illegal drug production.

As reported by the press service, on the evening of September 21, 500 meters from the Blagoveshchensk-Raichikhinsk highway on the territory of the Oktyabrsky District, officers of the Oktyabrsky Department of Internal Affairs discovered and seized narcotics marijuana weighing 400 kg, hashish oil about 3 kilograms, which were prepared for subsequent sale. Four citizens of the Russian Federation were detained at the crime scene, two of whom are residents of the city of Zavitinsk in the Amur Region, one from Primorsky Krai and one from the Oktyabrsky District of the Amur Region.

During the inspection of the area, a generator set was discovered - a homemade mechanism for evaporating narcotics and 4 200-liter barrels with a narcotic intended for evaporation.

"The scale of the production is indicated by the fact that a heavy-duty truck was needed to remove and seize the narcotics and machinery used for their production, and the inspection of the crime scene took about 5 hours," the press service noted.

All those detained are currently giving testimony. Operational measures are being carried out to establish channels for the distribution of narcotics.
