36 kg of marijuana seized in Troitsk. Former special forces soldier suspected of possessing the drug

36 kg of marijuana confiscated in Troitsk. As reported to Nakunune.RU by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, an entrepreneur, a former special forces soldier who served in the special forces unit "Vityaz" is suspected of storing it for the purpose of sale. According to information from police officers of the regional Main Directorate of Internal Affairs, a large batch of marijuana arrived in Troitsk. The alleged storage location of the drug was a garage on the territory of one of the garage-building cooperatives of the border city. The storage location was under 24-hour surveillance. Detectives caught a 28-year-old resident of Troitsk at night when he was trying to take marijuana out of the garage. During the search, they found two sports bags filled to the brim with marijuana. The drug was carefully packaged in bags weighing about 1 kg each. There were 29 packages in total. In the garage, police officers found another sports bag with the same contents. Now the former serviceman of the elite special forces unit has been arrested. He has been charged. Operational investigative measures are being carried out to establish the channel of drug supply to the region. At present, the issue of initiating a criminal case on the fact of smuggling is also being decided.
