Policemen were selling drugs

Three police officers from the village of Lenino in Crimea had been selling drugs for several months. A 23-year-old local police inspector of the Leninsky regional department, together with two 29-year-old colleagues, detectives for combating illegal drug trafficking, seized Datura from local residents. Then they transported the potion to Kerch, 55 km from Lenin. There, local drug dealers sold confiscated marijuana and opium.

They organized an entire criminal group, 29-year-old Natalya Boyarkina from the press service of the Crimean prosecutor’s office told the GPU. All actions were coordinated, everyone knew what needed to be done.

Hemp and opium were brought to two residents of Kerch. They had been selling drugs for a long time, so they immediately agreed with the proposal of Lenin’s policemen. The proceeds were divided equally. The law enforcement officers also provided cover.

Police officers from Lenin found 228 doses of extractive opium, more than 2 kg of cannabis and 4 thousand UAH. It was this money that the law enforcement officers received from the sale of drugs.

Kerch has long been famous for werewolf policemen, says Boyarkina. A few months earlier, the entire local department for combating drug trafficking, 11 law enforcement officers, was arrested here. Now this case has almost been investigated, and we are currently awaiting trial.

Police officers and local drug dealers were detained. All are threatened with prison. Law enforcement officers are also accused of bribery. In August of this year, they received $1.5 thousand for the release of a drug dealer.
