A group of drug collectors was detained on the border of Russia and China

A group of young people were detained on the border of Russia and China, who were found to have a batch of drugs. As reported to the correspondent of the IA RegNovosti in the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Chita Region, yesterday (September 6) at 19:00, 5 km from the border outpost "Abagaytuy", a squad of the military unit detained 3 residents of the village of Abagaytuy. The young people, no older than 25 years old, tried to throw a small bag into the bushes when the military approached. During the inspection of the bag and the clothes of the detainees, the military found 2 kilograms of marijuana. The investigation is being conducted by the Zabaikalsky Department of Internal Affairs.


Another batch of drugs was found yesterday by the task force of the Karymsky OVD during the service of a family scandal. In the house of a 30-year-old local resident, police officers found 450 grams of cannabis oil. An investigation is underway. In total, 3 cases of drug seizures were registered over the past 24 hours.
