Dutch drug dealers to face trial.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a criminal case against Russian citizens Elvira Gainutdinova and Oleg Malikhin has been sent to court in Tatarstan. They are accused of smuggling and preparing to sell narcotics (Part 2 of Article 188, Part 3 of Article 30, Part 3 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigation established that in March 2006, Gainutdinova and Malikhin delivered approximately 350 g of cocaine, more than 2.6 kg of marijuana and more than 0.6 g of amphetamine to Russian territory.

The drug trafficking started in the Dutch city of Rossendal, where drug couriers bought the drug. The cargo was then delivered by train to Germany, by bus to Russia and then to Kazan.

At the railway station, a service dog discovered a drug stash in a sub-buffer and citizen Gainutdinova was detained by police officers. For the delivery of the batch, the accomplices were to receive 110 thousand rubles in total; now the possible punishment for them for the committed act is up to 15 years of imprisonment.

Now Tatar police officers are identifying all accomplices of the crime and stopping the drug supply channel.
