"Domestic" hemp, guarded with "tripwires", found in Adygea07.09.2006
20 hemp bushes, which were grown in the house and protected with the help of homemade “stretchers,” were discovered by Adyghe drug police in the village of New Adygea. The head of the investigative department of the Russian Federation Office for Drug Control in the Republic of Armenia, Roman Zekokh, told the republic’s journalists about this on September 7, a REGNUM correspondent reports. According to the head of the investigation department, it was only by luck that during the operation none of the drug control officers were injured, and the explosive devices were neutralized.
During the search of the house, about one kilogram of marijuana and a firearm were found. The person suspected of committing this crime is believed to be a former law enforcement officer, Zekokh noted.
