Fake drugs are being sold in Moscow

In Moscow, on Lubyanka, under the guise of drugs, dealers sold a completely harmless potion - nettle leaves, a mixture of cheap teas and crushed citramon tablets, - reports a RIA "Novy Region" correspondent with reference to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Central Administrative Corridor of Moscow.

The press service reported that the Kitay-Gorod police department received information from operational sources that a certain person was selling marijuana almost every day near house 2 on Novaya Square. The information was confirmed, but not completely. Indeed, in the very center of the capital, its native Oleg N., born in 1978, was selling the potion, but under the guise of marijuana, he sold nettle leaves to the operatives who were making a test purchase.

"This is not an isolated case when the criminal investigation officers of our department detain so-called drug dealers," says the head of the Kitay-Gorod police department, Yuri Kvasnikov, "Since the beginning of this year, the investigative bodies of our department have already sent 3 criminal cases to court, where the distributors of virtual drugs appear as fraudsters. Under the guise of marijuana, they sold nettle leaves, tea, and crushed medicines. Now these people have been convicted, and the police officers of our department are actively suppressing this type of activity."

A criminal case has been opened against Oleg N. under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud", the press service of the Central Administrative District Department of Internal Affairs of Moscow reports.
