Cherkesov: A firm "no" to "soft" drugs

"Soft" drugs will not be legalized in Russia. This was stated to journalists on Friday by the director of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Cherkesov.

According to Cherkesov, talking about the possibility of legalizing illegal drugs is “neither legally nor morally correct.”

"We must remember that drug use is destructive to the lives and health of our citizens. It is impossible to legalize something that is prohibited by law," Cherkesov said.
