Dog 'hooked' on marijuana

Chilean woman claims her dog is addicted to drugs. The woman's boxer eats marijuana daily.

Angelica Fuentes, who lives in the Chilean capital Santiago, believes that her dog, Orlando, uses drugs only for medical purposes. The owner says that this is how the dog saves himself from severe stomach pain.

According to the woman, Orlando began practicing "alternative medicine" recently. One of Angelica's friends asked her to look after his marijuana plant, and she agreed. However, since then, Orlando has been destroying the plant's leaves every day.

The woman's dog apparently liked the marijuana: he had already eaten most of it.

Anjilica says she now places the pot of cannabis among other plants to diversify the dog's "menu." Orlando still seems to prefer marijuana.
