Drug dealer transported goods from Ukraine to Russia on bicycle

On February 2, officers of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation for the Bryansk Region detained a resident of the village of Zernovo in the Suzemsky District, born in 1976, who was involved in the smuggling and sale of narcotic drugs of plant origin.

As the REGNUM news agency was informed by the State Drug Control Department of the Russian Federation for the Bryansk Region, this citizen is credited with at least 2 sales of poppy straw, marijuana and several instances of drug smuggling. According to the detainee, he purchased drugs from local residents of one of the villages of the Sumy region in Ukraine and then, using the so-called smuggling routes, transported them by bicycle to Russian territory.

The drug dealer has experience of dealing with law enforcement agencies. In 2004, he was sentenced by the court to criminal punishment for theft, but with a suspended sentence, this time it will be difficult for the young man to avoid a real prison term. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee, an investigation is underway.
