When the employees of the Voronezh post office were sorting mail, one letter accidentally tore, and greenish powder poured out of the envelope. The postmen were scared, deciding that they were dealing with anthrax spores or something like that. The fantasy of drug dealers knows no bounds. They go to great lengths to transport their deadly goods to a place of profitable sale. Recently, the attention of French customs officers was attracted by a Santa Claus doll that was being transported in a minibus across the Spanish border. Santa turned out to be of Venezuelan origin and made of cocaine: the figurine weighed 5 kilograms. Customs officers themselves claim that they have previously detained toys and other items used to transport drugs. Shortly before this, Brazilian police during an operation seized 20 Santa Claus dolls stuffed with cocaine from a street dealer: each containing a “Christmas gift” weighing 20 grams. But cocaine Santas are nothing compared to the ingenuity of their American “colleagues”: last year, Miami customs officers detained a man carrying a large plastic bag with goldfish. A police dog responded to the smell of drugs, and the carrier was detained. It turned out that 20 kilos of cocaine were dissolved in the water, and the goldfish were swimming in packaging - transparent bags. Two months ago, Peruvian police seized a large shipment of frozen squid destined for Mexico. 880 kilograms of cocaine were hidden inside the cargo. The pepper that was liberally sprinkled on the squid batch did not help the drug dealers. And a week later, two and a half kilos of cocaine were found in church candles: in each candle, 50 centimeters long and 10 centimeters in diameter, the criminals hid half a kilo of the drug. Domestic drug barons are also distinguished by their originality. The intracavitary method of transportation has long been popular: the drug is sealed in capsules and transported in the stomach. Moreover, record holders manage to stuff up to a kilogram of drugs into themselves, people from African countries are especially skilled in this matter. However, this method is dangerous due to the depressurization of the capsules, which leads to instant death. There is a known case when a resident of Tajikistan delivered dope to Russia hidden inside 1,200 apricot pits. Another method: drug delivery in trucks loaded with vegetables and fruits. Quite recently, a large batch of heroin was detained, which the criminals tried to deliver to Moscow, hiding it in the back of a truck under a huge layer of dill. Drugs are hidden in food products, soft toys, underwear, hygiene products and other places. Poppy straw is transported in flower bouquets, ikebana, and some dealers transport the goods directly in clothes. One foreign "dealer" Elias Maus sprinkled his clothes with 27 kilograms of heroin. Sometimes the drug business uses floating transport to transport drugs. There was already an incident when the captain of the transport ship "Boris Livanov" Ivan Rybalko was detained in the Dutch port of Dilfzijl. It turns out that a box with 20 kilos of heroin was attached to the bottom of the submarine, and only three days later the captain was released, having proven his innocence. While the global drug traffickers are thinking about new ways to transport drugs, a museum called Narcofantasia has opened in Mexico, where the objects that dealers use in exotic ways of transportation are on display.
