Dutch magazine comes with hemp seeds as a bonus

As assured by the editor-in-chief of the publication Mark Koster, the distributed seeds were checked for quality by an expert, and it was assessed as good. Koster explained that this action is to draw attention to the issue dedicated to the full legalization of marijuana and some other prohibited plants and substances. The magazine proposes to stop the war on drugs, which costs a lot of money and does not bear any fruit.

The Netherlands is known for its cafes where you can buy marijuana and hashish for personal use, the agency recalls. However, both drugs are technically illegal, and possession of them in quantities exceeding a few grams is a criminal offense, but law enforcement agencies generally do not classify the sale of cannabis seeds as a crime. Nevertheless, several large retailers have either removed the packets of seeds from copies of the magazine or have not put the new issue on the shelves at all, the AP adds.
