Cannabis smokers, 163 million of us

On Thursday, the results of a UN study on the problem of the spread of marijuana became known. Scientists estimate that a total of 163 million people in the world are users of this drug. Cannabis is popular, widespread, grown and transported everywhere. Scientists have discovered the regional preferences of drug addicts.

The UN notes that marijuana production is growing every year. Meanwhile, in the US, consumption of this drug is declining. In 2002, college students used 10% less than in 1997, and 30% less than in the late seventies, Associated Press reports.

The researchers looked at the use of cannabis resin, the most common plant in Europe, and the actual "weed" - marijuana leaves - common in America and increasingly popular in Africa.

UN researchers have concluded that heroin remains an Asian problem, cocaine is America's leading drug, and weed is a typical African problem.

There are 15 million opiate and heroin addicts in the world – this number remains stable. Cocaine is used by 14 million people, the main cocaine market is the USA. Amphetamine drugs are also becoming more and more popular in the United States.

I don't understand why all these assholes forbid smoking... it's clear that hydracanabiol is a psychotropic substance... but it's pure bullshit... personally, after getting high, I'm unable to do anything... and after drinking vodka, all sorts of punks smash each other's heads, is that normal?
